The existing concrete front porch was re-poured to the correct height to allow for the installation of stonework to match the walkway.
This owner of this Kirkland property contacted us with the goal of modernizing his landscape. The existing backyard was uninviting and the front entrance was dated. Our designers worked with the client to select materials that would help turn the previously bland space into a great space for parties and guests. In addition to updating the landscape, the driveway and back patio were also enlarged, creating more space for entertaining. To allow for more parking space for guests, a concrete retaining wall was poured to create flat land for the enlarged driveway. The concrete wall will ensure that the driveway is long lasting.
The colors for the paving materials were selected based on future plans for renovation of the home’s exterior. The existing pool required a curvilinear layout of the patio and pool deck. The front entrance was modernized with large paving stones and an angular layout. The existing concrete front porch was re-poured to the correct height to allow for the installation of stonework to match the walkway. Using the same paver colors and pattern help to tie the two spaces together. Block planting of boxwood hedges adds to the modern look.
