The company of DLC Landscaping is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information (hereafter known as “ Our organization, “we”, “us” ) in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (P-39.1), (hereafter knows as “the Act”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information when you use our services, website or communications.

We may gather personal information when you contact us by phone, email, through our website or our social media platforms. Additionally, when you engage with us through a service proposal, surveys, promotions, or job applications, we may collect information pertinent to those interactions.

2. Why do we need to use personal information for our operations?
At DLC, we utilize personal information to fulfill our contracted services efficiently and effectively, ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality of care tailored to their needs. We also use this information to keep our valued clients informed about our products, services, and promotions, fostering transparency and engagement. Participation in any of our communication channels is entirely voluntary, and individuals can opt out at any time, ensuring full control over their engagement with DLC. DLC only use your personal information for these purposes.

Only our employees who need your personal information to perform their duties have access to it.

4. Who do we share your personal information with outside of DLC?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except, in accordance with the Act, when it is essential for the execution of a contract or service, we may share or transfer personal information to trusted service providers. Any information shared is strictly limited to what is necessary to carry out, perform, or execute the task or function related to the requested service on behalf of DLC.

5. How and for how long do we store your personal information?
Your personal information is stored in a restricted area and/or on our password-protected servers. It is kept for a period of 7 years after the last registration in your file.

6. What are your rights with respect to our privacy policy?
When you reach out to DLC and share your personal information, you hold certain rights that empower you to have control over how your data is handled. Firstly, you have the right to access the personal information we have collected about you. If you find any inaccuracies or outdated information, you have the right to request corrections or updates. Moreover, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal information if you no longer want us to retain it. Additionally, you have the right to object to or restrict the processing of your personal information under certain circumstances, such as when you believe the processing is unlawful or if you contest the accuracy of the data.

Furthermore, you have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal information at any time.
