Our design team took pride in breaking up the fluidity from the driveway to walkway by incorporating a rectangular garden bed lay in a stone Melville trim.
As a new homeowner in a quaint part of Beaconsfield, our client was looking to turn a house into a home. A complete A to Z landscape restoration was in order to make the house truly one-of-a-kind. Both the front and backyard were to be redone and as the house stood on an elevated terrain, some grading would be required.
Our design team took pride in breaking up the fluidity from the driveway to walkway by incorporating a rectangular garden bed lay in a stone Melville trim. The same trim was used to line the sides of the asphalt driveway and encase the traditional dark Villagio unistone brick of the walkway. This look was then used to line the front of the garage doors.
We then worked on the leveling of the backyard by forming and building a concrete retaining wall around the whole backyard to build structure and break up the large change in grade around the property line. The pool deck was poured in exposed aggregate, a material very unique to DLC Beton Unique. This product is known for not only it’s contemporary look compared to regular concrete, but also for it’s high durability and resistance to weather changes.
